Animal models for the animal lovers (or haters)

Holy shit, these are the cutest models i have ever seen.

Edit: Definitely use these for companions not monsters

Companions for sure, to use them as a monster just feels wrong. We just need to give 'em some stat lines, and that is not hard at all I would thing something like this.

Bat: H1 A3 T3 S5
Flying and +2 to dodge save

Owl: H2 A4 T5 S7
Flying and +2 to dodge save

Rat: H1 A3 T3 S5
+3 to Dodge Save

Monkey: H2 A5 T6 S6
Jump Attack = Cost 3S, Charge 3 Squares.
The monkey jumps to any target withing 3 squares and get +1A that round.

Chicken: H1 A2 T5 S7
Distraction = Cost 2S, Range 5
The chicken gives of a high pitched noise that forces any enemy within 5 squares to walk towards or attack the chicken.

Pig: H3 A1 T8 S5
Tanking = Cost 5S the Pig enters a tanking stand and protects all Heroes within the same square making them invulnerable against attacks but can not move this round.

Its just some examples and they might need some fixing but try them out if nothing else.

Hmm, the beast master class does not get a lot of love

Probably cause it is not part of the original game and the flipitpaper website doesn't even have proper links to MDA and that is sad. if we put our own beast master in our own version maybe some more ppl will start playing with it. I don't know but we can hope.

hmm you're right, im thinking it would be nice to add it to the core rule book.

I think so to. And there is a couple more I would add in. There ain't enough characters to play sadly.

I think the beast master needs a little more refining when dealing with companions.  My suggestion is to limit the amount of companions available to a max of 8 but only 1 active at a time.  If the player wants to have more active at the same time (Max of 4) they must spend a level point on increasing the number companions they can simultaneously control.  

These 6 companions above could be considered advanced and should all have special attacks.
Rat - Steals opponents armor - -2 T
Owl - Gouges eyes - opponents can not attack or defend for 1 round
Giant bat - Carry - can carry other companion to any spot

I like that, i agree the companions need more refining, i like the idea of needing to spend you level up on upgrading it.

I also see there are no beast master items in the shop, since beast master is an add-on. 
Maybe for 0.5 beast master will be in the standard game? if so maybe a special armour that will increase the amount of companions available to bring in?
