    DungeonMaster Screen?

Post by Zappline on Tue Jun 16, 2015 8:19 pm

I will start working on a DM Screen for MDA. Its a good way to keep a bit of suspense for the players so they cant immediately figure out what is gonna show up in the dungeon room. If they cant see the DMs rolls they cant figure it out just by the number, it only takes so long to learn the different numbers on a dice.

Now I just want to know if this is something that might be interesting for you guys.

Alright here it is. tell me what you think, if I have missed anything or if I should do something more with it.

I've been using a sheet of paper folder in half with all the charts behind it.

But if you could take the time to make a screen with the charts on it, IMO that would indeed improve the gameplay

Great, then I will start building it right now, will be back with a post when it is done. ill try to make it all fit on a A4 paper but maybe it should be on half an A4 so it can be folded and thus be standing.

Wow, thats nice you put a lot of work into this, tank you.

With that said, the shop and the spell book are not spoiling much if the PC's can see them, but its still good to have, if you get the time maybe make a light version?

    Very impressed Smile

    Tank you good sir.

It wasn't very hard to do but it took a lot of time, mostly cause my computer sucks and GIMP don't wanna do what I want it to do Razz

Do you know how I can make the image work with the original siza. I need it to be a full A4.

Secondly, the shop and the spells are there mostly cause its good for the DM to have it close by if anyone asks or if he needs to check the value or anything like that. But yes maybe I will do a light version later on with only the dice rolling charts Very Happy

Hmm, try using Microsoft word/publisher to lay it out, then you can save it as a PNG.

Photoshop is really the best thing for this though.

It is saved as a PNG but I guess the servimg.com just doesn't cut it. I will try to upload it somewhere else and see if I can get it to work Very Happy
